In addition to Albert Pike’s monument being restored in DC our Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced that the Reconciliation Monument, that the Jewish Virginia Military Institute Veteran Moses Ezekiel created, will be relocated from the U.S. Army storage facility in Chesterfield, Virginia and placed back to its original location at the Arlington National Cemetery. This was a deal that was brokered with Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin which will bring the monument back to the cemetery, on the grounds where General Robert Edward Lee once lived with his family until the beginning of the Civil War, under a 50 year loan.

Decendants of both Union and Confederate veterans should be proud of this second act of reconciliation through the restoration of this grand monument.
